The Serengeti Bar & Restaurant is based on a "Triadic" story, using different hues to give colour, strength and warmth which makes the restaurant rich, fresh and modern in design.
Westport is one of the top whitebaiting locations in the country. These tiny native fish migrate up the river from the sea, where they have been growing all winter; then they are caught, turned into a traditional fritter and served in our Serengeti Restaurant as a West Coast delicacy. Be sure to complement your culinary experience in our Serengeti Bar with a local larger.
